Paracel will create 4,000 direct jobs. The company is also expected to create 36,000 indirect jobs in the
region, creating a total of 40,000 jobs.

Will local labor be hired in the construction and operation stages of the industrial plant?
At Paracel, we are looking to hire as many people as possible from the Concepción area and Paraguay. It is important to mention that during the construction phase and the first years of operation of the plant, it will also be necessary to hire specialized foreign labor, since Paraguay lacks experience in this area. During the construction phase of the plant, Paracel will invest in ongoing training for the local labor force through partnerships with technical and university educational institutions.

What is the selection and hiring process like?
Searches are published on Paracel’s website and shared through the company’s official social networks. The selection process consists of the following steps:
- Step 1: The Human Talent Selection area performs the first filter through the review of the profiles.
- Step 2: The Selection team conducts telephone interviews to meet the pre-selected profiles.
- Step 3::The pre-selected profiles go to the next stage, which is a virtual or in-person interview with the Human Talent Selection area.
- Step 4: The candidates who are on the final shortlist undergo the next interview, which is conducted in conjunction with the head of the applicant area and the Human Talent area.
- Step 5: Labor references are verified and finally the proposal is made, by means of a job offer letter, to the selected applicant.
Does Paracel have a Recruitment and Selection policy?

The objective of this program is to guide and facilitate the development of internships in order to contribute to the training of future professionals. In addition, it seeks to improve the teaching-learning process of the participants by giving them the opportunity to interact with highly qualified professionals, members of the Paracel team.

Does Paracel have a Human Rights policy?
Paracel has a policy, which recognizes that human rights are inherent, inalienable, universal, indivisible and interdependent:

Where are non-residents of Concepción who will be working in the construction phase going to live?
Paracel developed a Mobility Policy, which contemplates the actions to be taken in order to accompany the migration processes of people to Concepción.
Does Paracel contemplate an action plan to manage the return of people (hired for the construction stage) to their city or country of origin once construction is completed?
Paracel, within its National and International Mobility Policy, contemplates the actions to be taken once the international or national assignment is completed. In this sense, it is important to highlight that Paracel will accompany this process through the Human Talent area.
